the big trip

All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.

On Monday I’ll be flying to Melbourne and then sail from the Port of Melbourne back to Sydney.

We are a crew of 4 and the trip should take between 7 to 10 days. To say I am stoked is a huge understatement. I am really looking forward to this passage and will be recording the trip. I even borrowed a drone from a friend, let’s see if I can get some nice shots 😉

We will be leaving Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron on Tuesday the 10th (weather permitting), cross the bay and stay for the night at Queenscliff from where we will depart offshore the next day.

It is going to be awesome.

You can follow our journey and see the GPS position of our boat here.

Fair winds and following seas.
